Burton NDT Rentals is a professional equipment rental and sales company specializing in industrial inspection solutions. With over 35 years of inspection-industry experience and the newest inventory in the field, we help industry partners maintain smooth operations, ensure workplace safety, and protect equipment reliability and integrity.

Based out of La Porte, Texas, Burton NDT Rentals serves diverse clients across oil & gas, pipelines, pharmaceutical facilities, chemical plants, and power generation. We deliver unparalleled equipment solutions and inspection expertise in NDT, RVI, GPR, PMI, and X-Ray fluorescence.

We carry portable, easy-to-use RVI equipment — videoscopes, fiberscopes, pipe cameras, and video crawler systems in a range of diameters and lengths — alongside eddy-current testing, phased-array ultrasonics, ultrasonic flaw detection, infrared imaging, and hardness testers. Whatever the turnaround, shutdown, or emergency outage demands, we have the calibrated tool ready to ship.

Mark Burton

Founder & President

Mark Burton is the founder and president of Burton NDT Rentals, which he started in 2020. Prior to founding the company, Mark served as Vice President of Resources for ROSEN USA and Mexico, and as Vice President of Operations for Pine Environmental from 2013 through 2018. Pine Environmental acquired Ashtead Technology where Mark held senior leadership roles between 2004 and 2013, including VP of Sales & Marketing, VP of Operations, and VP of the Non-Destructive Testing Division. Earlier in his career, Mark held engineering, sales, and marketing positions at Fortune 500 companies including The Dow Chemical Company, Baker Hughes, Hoerbiger Corporation, and Aeroquip-Vickers (an Eaton Corporation company). He served as an officer in the United States Military from 1985 to 1996 in both active and reserve components. Mark holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern University, advanced Marketing and Finance certifications from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and an MBA from Texas A&M University.

Eric L. Williams

Gulf Coast Operations Manager

Eric Williams is the Operations Manager for Burton NDT Rentals' Gulf Coast Region, covering offices in La Porte and Port Arthur, Texas. Eric joined Burton NDT Rentals in 2021 after serving as an Administrative Coordinator for Prince William County Schools in Manassas, Virginia. He previously served honorably for 20 years in the United States Military, holding leadership and executive-level command and staff positions where he developed deep operational, logistical, safety, and senior management expertise. He has PhD-level experience managing complex, multi-functional organizations — leading organizational planning while communicating an organization's vision, goals, and objectives are leadership and management responsibilities Eric has successfully done for over four decades. His documented portfolio of knowledge, skills, and abilities inspires employees, motivates performance, and translates seamlessly into sustainable, effective customer service in the Gulf Coast Region. Eric holds a B.S. in Communications from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a degree in Strategic and Organizational Studies from the United States Army Command & General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Mark Eddy

Southeast Regional Operations Manager

Mark Eddy serves as the Southeast Regional Operations Manager for Burton NDT. Before joining Burton, Mark worked for years as the office manager for one of the largest equipment rental companies in the United States, where he developed deep expertise with environmental and non-destructive testing equipment. His career began as Project Manager for Advanced Industrial Resources, where he worked for 11 years completing EPA compliance emissions testing. Mark's industry knowledge is broad, with a specialty in Remote Visual Inspection.

Tyler Burton

Customer Service Manager

Tyler Burton is the Customer Service Manager at Burton NDT LLC, which he joined in fall 2020. Before Burton, Tyler was a Parking Cashier Coordinator for SMG Global at NRG Park in Houston, where he supported events for the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. While attending the University of Utah, Tyler worked for over two years at eBay helping new sellers market their products and resolving site issues. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Utah, with additional experience in the banking industry and asset protection.
